Roast Duck

This is truly a special and wonderful restaurant. We had their Roast Duck (AMAZING), Pecan Crusted Chicken (YUMMY), Parmesan Crusted Walleye (SUPERB) and we shared a dessert that was a party in your mouth. Cannot wait to return as they have many things on their menu that looks tasty. Very friendly staff and owners. Would highly recommend Idlewile Inn for any occasion.

Perch

There is absolutely no better Fish Fry in Wisconsin. The fish is fresh and the breading is not too thick and the tartar sauce is one of the best. Enjoy!

Pecan Crusted Chicken

I have heard about the Pecan Crusted Chicken dish and finally gave it a try my 3rd time here. In a word: Oh My Goodness ! OK, that's three words but one word wasn't enough. Beautifully cooked chicken breast covered in a crunchy coating with slivers of pecans topping it. A great basil pesto angel hair pasta rested under it and the combination was delicious. Light, but filling as I didn't think it would be enough to quell my hunger... but it more than did the trick. Hint: Try the tomato/basil bruschetta as an appetizer. Fresh mozzarella and basil leaves sprinkled among the tomatoes and then topped lightly with a balsamic vinegar drizzle. It is worth the drive from wherever you are. Tim & Shannon, Sheboygan WI ps ... a great ambience and atmosphere in an historic building that you will be wishing the experience could last just a little longer.

Pork Schnitzel

Really enjoyed my meal! Pork Schnitzel was tender, juicy and very tasty. The sauce on top was the perfect complement to the pork... not too overpowering, but had great flavor. Spatzel and broccoli went well with the dish... made for an excellent dinner.

One of the best I have had. You must order the twice baked potato. It was absolute heaven.

Pecan Crusted Chicken

The BEST I've ever had!!! Steve behind the bar makes a generous cocktail and the food is always spot on. Brenda and staff keep things moving without making the customers feel rushed. Worth the drive...call for the detour during road construction.

Prince Edward Island Mussels

Hands down one of the best mussel appetizers I've ever had! Usually these are served in a garlic sauce but here it has a slight hint of heat in a tomato based sauce. It was also served with sausage and toasted points where were perfect for dipping into the sauce.
